A very rare recording of the Maniacs before they were famous. Listed as Natalie Merchant's 30th show with the band.
Excellent sounding if a little hissy soundboard recording. I reduced the hiss slightly and lifted the bass a bit, but
for the most part left it as I got it.

Description:
This is an excellent soundboard recording from the pre-"Wishing Chair" era, featuring
substantially different lyrics on many of the as-yet-unreleased "Wishing Chair" songs.
Track #4, "Toy Helmet", was also known as "Primitive Mentality" during the 1984 tour,
and would ultimately be recorded as b-side / bonus track "The Colonial Wing". Track
#18 is a song commonly referred to as "John Sings Ska", but I have no idea of that's an
unofficial fan-created title or not. The same song also appears on the Atlanta 1984
recording, using that same title.
