notes: This is a country show. Before playing Country Boy, Aaron states "The next song is the reason I'm here, in a country bar." You've been warned.
I found out about this show the day of and went with no expectations whatsoever. For $25, it's hard to pass up this unique opportunity to see the lead
singer of a successful grunge band play in a country bar. To my surprise, the place was packed when I got there, so I hung towards the back to get
a feel for it all. Ended up hanging out against the railing behind the dance floor in the middle of the venue. There were repeater stacks hanging
about 20' in front of me and a video screen just in front of me in the middle of the venue, the soundboard mirrored me on the right side. I was
treated to line dancing on the dance floor in front of me between the opener and Aaron Lewis. I can't remember a single person yelling out songs for
Aaron to sing, which was really refreshing. There is a constant mumor of distant conversation however, throughout the majority of the show.
