Mics were physically separate left / right channel lines pinned over each shoulder facing stage.
I was 10 feet right of center, just in front of the soundboard.
I wired up my mics but didn't check left/right until things were already going, so I had the channels reversed; did a Swap Channels to remedy that.
Then the now-corrected right channel was off balance, so i cut it 2dB.
Then I had been tinkering with volume in the beginning / 5 mins was louder than the rest of show; I brought that entire section down 1.5db.
Lastly, I cut it up into tracks, with some fades added & 3mins edited b4 the encore, & SBE-fixed things.
The main set is one long chunk, and the encore is another, with nothing but crowd clapping missing; I SBE-fixed each section separately.
I originally mastered this 2015-06-13.

NOTES

I had not used my recorder in almost 2 years, so I figured I'd give this all a shot.
Get a little practice again ;)

I did most of my testing during the opening act, only messed with volume here as noted above.

Thx to AeroFANatic for setlist (I knew most of the old ones, but glad to fill the gaps).
Here was his nice summary:
***
Cisco Systems, gigantic American tech company, had their 2015 conference in San Diego. And who better to hire than Aerosmith to play your event?!?
Fresh off a few month hiatus, Aerosmith shook off the rust and delivered an unsurprising but very high energy set tonight. The 15,000 fedora
wearing folks at Petco Park were thinking about anything other than technology this evening.
***
Yep, upon entry, everyone got black or white fedoras, and a Steven Tyler like scarf too.

A very decent sounding tape - considering how this was a mixed audience, I think it turned out pretty good.
Lotsa talkers in my area, but it's not picked up so much by the mics.
Save for a part at the end where a bouncer gave me crap, it's alright.

Hey, I was happy to get this, thought the ballpark metal detector stuff would give me grief.
I dropped the H2 in a tray like it was a camera, but the scanners + wand caught my mics pre-wired up inside my shirt.
After a few looks, and extra wands, he let me go anyway.

Hearing this show reminds me of something.
I first saw these guys in late 1982, not the best days for the band & I'll leave it at that.
Before this, I'd dallied in trying to sneak in big bulky recorders to movies (The Who Tommy) but not concerts.
That night for Aerosmith in 1982, I watched a sorta pro buddy do it all & learned.
And it was the following year that I first had successes with my own first recordings.
So I suppose that night was seminal for me & my taping history.

Crank it up and ENJOY! it as I have, and share it so others can hear it.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
