NOTES

I rarely fluff my own recordings, but FWIW: I also recorded this
set with Schoeps MK21 (NOS)/KC5/CMC6 > V3, but I think this recording
sounds better. If you have any doubts about the quality of the
AKG C414B-ULS > Oade Transparent-PLUS UA-5 combo, set them aside and
give this recording a listen. Hats off to the sound engineer and
Planet Bluegrass for consistently providing top-notch sound at their
festivals, enabling quality recordings like this one.

Another beautiful RockyGrass - this year, without the rain. AKUS closed
out the festival with this superb performance. I must say, I'm not a
huge AKUS fan, but after seeing this performance - I'm a convert.
*Incredibly* respectful crowd was dead silent through the quiet
stretches: pure pleasure to listen to Alison sing without hundreds of
people flapping their jaws nearby.
