My memories of Alvin Lee: I first saw Alvin with Ten Years After in early 1973 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany.
Later in the year, I was pleasantly surprised when most of the Ten Years After Recorded Live album featured recordings
from that very concert. I saw them again in 1974 at the Friedrich-Ebert Halle in Ludwigshafen, Germany. PFM was the
support that night, and both bands were great. This recording comes from the only other time I saw Alvin play.

The recording in this torrent contains only the last 4 songs of the night. This happened because my friend Tom was doing
the recording while I shot pictures. Neither of us realized that the PAUSE button was on until the show was nearly done.
I'm sure that such things have happened to many of us over the years, but it doesn't make it any less painful. This gig
is not listed in the gig list on Alvin's website, and I believe it is the only time he played in New Mexico. Listen for
Alvin getting confused and singing "Albuquerque, Texas" during "Sweet Little Sixteen". Sound is decent for the gear and
the time, and I'm sure you will enjoy what little I have from the show. I will try to make samples, but I have a new PC
with Windows 8, and I'm not sure that the procedures I learned on my old XP machine will work the same. I have enclosed
a folder of photos that I took that night. It would be great to have ethiessen1 make artwork for this, but it's probably
a waste of his valuable time for a recording that's only a little over 24 minutes long.

Thank You, Alvin, wherever your spirit is now. I hope you're jamming with Jimi, Stevie Ray, John Entwistle, Duane Allman,
Tommy Bolin, Berry Oakley, Keith Moon, Cozy Powell, and all the other great ones in Rock & Roll Heaven.

Enjoy the show and the pictures,
FLashfan
