In the past 4 decades Amos Garrett has had many incarnations as a guitarist. He's played with over 150 different artists from Ian and Sylvia to Anne Murray to Maria Muldaur. You know the guitar solo in the 1974 hit "Midnight at the Oasis." That's Amos Garrett. These days he spends most of his time working with his jazz trio and his acoustic blues combos.

The Tongue on the Post Festival is an annual winter affair in Medicine Hat Alberta. In 2010, Amos Garrett and his acoustic trio were the headliners. This conccert features Amos Garret's in an acoustic blues trio where he sings and tells stories about the songs as well as plays guitar. Joining Amos are Dave Wilkie from Cowboy Celtic on mandolin and Dave Carroll on bass.
