Tapers Notes:
Amos Lee comes to the historic Wiltern Theater. Regrettably, this was a really tough ticket
and for a performer that I knew little of, I was unwilling to plop down the $125+ for a taper
ticket, so we were stuck along the sides of the balcony. The sound was quite quiet (one had
trouble hearing the band) and the crowd was very excited, so in person this sounded a lot like
Lee mumbling to banjos and dobros, but the tape turned out better than my ears. A further
problem was Lee's irritating insistence upon singing off mike to the crowd, so on a lot of songs,
one cannot hear a blasted thing other than the band behind him.

The true thanks go not to me, but to the taping community behind whose footsteps
I have followed, including those who have perfected the art of stealth
recordings, the makers of the stealthy mikes, cords, adapters, and preamps, and
those who have graciously shared their recording techniques.
I am merely a mike stand with a credit card and driver's license.
As always, I don't care what you do with these files, once you download
them--they are yours now, except these files are not for sale, free
trade only. You can thank me by uploading something of a similar genre
or trading with me, so I can.
