This was Andy Aledort & The Groove Kings 1st time playing the Turning Point Cafe!


Andy Aledort is An editor for Guitar magazine, who does note for note transcriptions
for guitar players around the world. Also, Andy is a world renowned guitarist who has
played with many other great musicians including, Band Of Gypsy's, Stevie Ray Vaughan,
Albert Collins, Albert King, B.B. King and many others.His devotion to Hendrix earned him
a slot on the recent Jimi Hendrix Tribute Tour this last year.

Before the show i talked to Andy about the Beacon Theater show i was at, and how great
he was at that performance, because of that he threw in a couple of Hendrix songs for
good measure, as well as paying tribute to the King's, Jimi, Stevie, Duane etc.His guitar
playing was brilliant at times , offering many tricks onstage, the highlight of the show
for me was when he played guitar with his teeth!

Andy is an excellent guitar player, & with The Groove Kings he gets to show off a bit,
musically as well.


I highly recommend if you get a chance to go see Andy Aledort & The Groove Kings you do,
he is one helluva nice guy as well !
