Ann was invited to perform at the Dublin Ohio annual July 4th celebration at
Dublin Coffman Football Stadium. She mentioned on stage that she has been off
for the past 9 months and has been recording a new record with her new band,
Tripsitter. The album is called "Another Door", with no release date mentioned.
She did premiere a handful of songs from it ("Rain Of Hell" was performed last
year at various gigs), and it was all very strong! I really enjoyed the majority
of her "Fierce Bliss" record in 2022, but sadly, none of it made the Dublin
July 4th setlist. Not even "Greed"! Her set time was slated for 810pm, but she
did not come out until roughly 820pm. She played a relatively short set (not
sure why) and was off the stage by 930pm. But, in those 70 minutes, we did get
some stellar stuff! I cant complain about the set length, it only cost $25 to
get into the table reserves on the field. Most shows on her 2023 tour are 3x
that for decent seats! I had little to no one around me for the set, so the
audio turned out near perfect. Most folks were at their tables behind me and
the handful that came up to the front were right at the stage. I was back
slightly and off to the right in line with the right PA. I really loved the new
material, going to be listening to this one for awhile. Go see Ann this summer!
Support her!! Lets hope Heart makes their return in 2024 or 2025.

Tripsitter:
Ryan Wariner: guitar
Tony Lucido: bass
Paul Moak: guitar and keyboards
Sean Lane: drums
