Recorded by my dear friends Blueshacks and Miro from close to the stage at the barriers front row from different positions. Some recordings sound really fine, others a bit less. On this
festival it depended all about the stage time, the behaviour of the crowd and other influences. Most of the recordings have a few pics added as well.

This was the first Freak Valley Festival which I did not attend. Not because of any probable missing musical journey, but it was sold out very fast last October and when finally some
tix popped up for reasonable prices, the timeschedule for "holiday from work" was gone. Anyway, I knew there were at least three experienced tapers inside the valley.
All thanks straight to those warriors of taping in the valley of the freaky bones...
Ahhh, the first real highlight of this year's Freak Valley Festival and it sucks that I was not there. Arbouretum offers a somehow unique mixture of alternative/postrock with hints of
Americana/Oriental influences, as I've already metioned in Zhopan's recording of the Antwerp show a few days earlier. Remarkable is that the setlist for this show is almost completely
different climaxing in a wonderful closing. All worth checking out and having a joyful listening. Our dear (intoxicated) taperfriends seemed to have enjoyed it as well...as you can hear.SB
