Notes:
Thanks to the fellow I chatted with at Hiromi's Sonicwonder earlier in the year for the suggestion to
check these guys out; what a fantastic group of musicians! Guthrie is *with* that guitar. To anyone
checking this out, may I suggest checking out Hiromi's Sonicwonder or any project, solo or group, by
piano virtuoso Hiromi Uehara.
While this show wasn't sold-out, I think it was at least near to it because it was packed similar to
the sold-out BTBAM shows back in March. This was definitely one of the most cerebral shows I've been to,
and the whole audience seemed to be on the same wavelength; most everyone was really chill but intently
listening and heartily cheering between tunes, which the band also picked up on. I had a good spot and
the tape turned out crisp and clear. I think you'll enjoy it.
