comments:
an average to soso audience recording. not too much crowd noise for this
band, and no high fidelity, but everything can be heard. this is from the
1st U.S. tour of the band. Probably recorded on a "walkman" type recorder
with auto levelling built in stereo mikes. It's a pretty good show.
there's very little variation (if any) in the set on this tour which was
highlighting music from the first album "Asia", when some were suggesting
this was going to be the next Blind Faith ("supergroup").
actually they outlasted Blind Faith by a long one. this may have been the
biggest "supergroup" of the early 80's, to me they were more like the 1st GTR
(or make that, GTR was the next Asia Sortakinda)
