Another terrific recording by Charles Odell, this time of the Jimmy Thackery's six-piece rock, rhythm and blues band, The Assassins. This band toured for three or four years, first as a side project and then to replace Thackery's main band, The Nighthawks. It had a terrific lineup of song writers and musicians, and it shows. You can read more about the band here http://rhumba.com/assassins.html and here https://www.last.fm/music/Jimmy+Thackery,+Tom+Principato+&+The+Assassins/+wiki
Tape flip cross-faded in Too Tall To Mambo. All other tape flips were seamless. Brian Alpert, the drummer, was kind enought to identify many of the songs and who wrote them. Thanks, Brian!
Enjoy!
