just read in the newspaper that there were two Pink Floyd-cover-bands playing that evening in my area. Only two??
What's wrong? There are about 5.000 P.F. cover-bands around the globe and only two were playing here??
O.k., enough jokes:
Here's The Australian Pink Floyd Show on their recent "50-years-of Wish you were here - tour" on their stop at Oberhausen.
I always wanted to see them and this time it worked. Hopping over on one of the darker days in my country (election day)
felt a bit unreal, but it was the right decision.
The show itself was somehow better than my first original Pink Floyd-experience way back in 1977. O.k, there were not that much
WatersGilmoreWrightandMasons on stage, but the lights and lasers and pigs were of course much better today than 48 ago.
The sound was amazing, the band really great - so a great evening.
