This newest source is the best quality and complete, now available for the first time in flac.
This was a real nice surprise finding this recording. You BB fans should be really happy about this.
I'm labeling this as Source 2, because there was another partial 38 min audience recording that surfaced on dime in 2015.
There is also a partial 80 min soundboard, which is missing most of "Why I Sing The Blues" and "Rock Me Baby".
The entire soundboard also suffers from bad tape warble, which is just terrible to listen to.
Being able to finally hear a good, steady recording of this after all these years was a nice surprise.
The taper (in2blues) wasn't able to find his master copy, instead had a 1st gen back-up copy handy, so that's what I have here.
This show has James Cotton joining in for as long 15 minute version of "Rock Me Baby".
Recording notes.
There is a tape flip after track 7 (real time 40:37). I couldn't find the next tape flip.
I've also added in several photos from this concert and I also included a scan of the ticket stub.
I want to thank (in2blues) for supplying the tape and doing the transfer.
There is a treasure trove of rare blues in his collection, some of which I'll be posting here.
