Baba Olatunji 12-31-91 Oakland, CA Excellent SBD

Baba Olatunji opened for the Grateful Dead on this New Years show at the Oakland Coliseum. Excellent sound quality and a great performance. If you have a good subwoofer, the drums will shake your walls, and be ready to dance! If you are into African Drumming, this is a must have.

I read that Mickey Hart as a kid saw Olatunji in his school program teaching African drumming and that inspired him to become a drummer. Later Mickey and Baba became good friends and had him open many Grateful Dead shows, and played many shows together in Planet Drum, I saw several of those shows and they were great.
