COMMENTS:
Is this the closest I'll get to seeing my favorite band? Maybe.
I unfortunately barely missed out on catching what seems to
be the last King Crimson incarnation that ever will exist, so
getting to see this was something I very much looked forward
to for a while. Did it live up to all of wildest hopes and
dreams? No, my hopes and dreams were far too unreasonable.
Was it a good gig? Absolutely! I've heard just about every
single recording of that 80s lineup of King Crimson, so I
am intimately familiar with that music. I have plenty of
observations, nitpicks, etc. that I could write a whole
essay about but for the sake of brevity I will not do so.

The actual recording turned out fine, I was in the second row,
pretty much the center, and like when I saw Thundercat at this
venue last year I took advantage of the speaker stacks on the
floor in front of me to get a pretty clear sound, albiet not
AS clear as that recording. Inbetween songs some of the clapping
and cheering picks up a bit too much on the recording, but
the audience is well behaved for the music itself. I'm
happy to have recorded this, and I hope you enjoy.
