This one-day mini-festival, known as the "South Park Festival", was organised and headlined by Radiohead, and the complete performances by several of the bands taking part were broadcast live by XFM London.

Note that, technically speaking, XFM managed to cock up the entire day's broadcasts, there seemed to be some problem with both their analogue and digital relays of the music from the soundboard in Oxford to their studios in London, this got progressively worse during the evening, to the point where substantial (analogue FM relay?) hiss could be heard during quieter parts of the Radiohead live performance, which had nothing to do with my own equipment. Highlights of these shows by Supergrass, Beck and Radiohead were also rebroadcast later as part of various "XFM Live Hour" shows during subsequent weekends, where the recordings all exhibited the same faults again (namely, now and again slightly weird sound quality and some hiss or noise noticeable during softer periods), meaning that the only capture XFM made was at their London studio end from the relayed signals, as opposed to an alternative direct capture from the mixing desk at South Park in Oxford itself.
