I was asking around for some Bay Area Beck shows I went to, and Dime user armogi offered up a couple uncirculated recordings. He taped this and transferred it, and he sent me the raw file to split into tracks and upload.

This was my third time seeing Beck for "Sea Change," and the only one of the three without the Flaming Lips. It was kind of a weird show. First, Dashboard Confessional were supposed to open but dropped out earlier in the tour, so the crowd was left with the other mostly unknown (at the time) opening band (the Black Keys). It was also on a college campus, which seems to have lead to the roughly 3pm show time, so it was all very early and very hot and sunny, and Beck wasn't able to use any of his regular set/props. I was in the front row and the crowd was dead. It probably didn't help that they played a lot of mellow/acoustic songs in a row (see tracks 8-15). But - it was the last time for years that I got to see Beck happy at a show. Not sure what happened for about 8 years, but he appears to be cheerful again.
