Show Notes: A fabulous evening of (mostly) acoustic Beck, solo to begin with, and then joined by local musicians Shane Reilly and Shawn Supra, who Beck told us had to learn 30 songs, this being the first show they had done together, with very impressive results. Highlights of the evening for me was Lost Cause, the brilliant new song Thinking About You, and not so much a highlight, but the awful lyrics written by AI in the style of a Beck song being dubbed 'Rebel Soul' which had the audience in hysterics. The only disappointment of the night being Beck teased us with a snippet of Where It's At saying it's a preview, but didn't make it to the set, though apparently it was on the setlist but Debra was performed in its place instead. A brilliant night!

Recording Notes: Sounds great. The Palais Theatre provides great acoustics, and I was in a nice spot on the floor about half way back. A quiet crowd around me, and the bonus of an empty seat in front of me as well helped. Enjoy!
