Recorded from the center of the orchestra section, sound quality is EX/EX-

Sony D-6 w/ Sonic Studio mics>Master Cassette>Creative>CDR>EAC>FLAC

From my master tapes. The room has a very high ceiling and is one of those acoustically designed theatres found at universities. The sound is very good, although the room gives it some spaciousness.
There is loud applause between songs. I thought about either chopping it out or trying to reduce the volume, but, in the end, I just left it alone.

I wasn't sure whether to list this under classical (which much of the program is) or newgrass or what, so I opted for "Americana."

Musicians:
Joshua Bell – violin (playing a Stradivarius worth at least 2 million $)
Sam Bush –violin, mandolin, (playing a $250 pawnshop violin that was broken and re-glued and I’m not making that up)
Mike Marshall – Mandolin, mandola
Edgar Meyer – Bass

There are points when Meyer and Marshall may play other instruments. It was 10 years ago and I don’t recall.

Setlist:

Each CD is one complete part of the program, there was an intermission between.
