The Ben and Charlie shows at the Catalyst are the 3rd pair of shows from
the tour. I was fortunate enough to see the tour openers at the Fillmore
in SF and the first 2 of the 4 Belly Up shows in Solana Beach. It was a
hurry up and wait day at work so I was able to cut out early and beat traffic.
This was good since I have had it take over 3 hours to go 90 miles. I arrived,
checked into the hotel and walked over. I met up with a couple of friends in
the FRIC group and we passed the time. Doors opened and made my way in without
and issues. I found my spot and had a couple of friends in front of me. All
pretty easy taping. The show was really good (they all have been) and despite
a similar setlist the music seemed new and fresh with some more jamming and
some different arrangements. A few of the songs that I especially enjoyed were
I Don't Believe A Word You Say, I'm In I'm Out and I'm Gone, Movin' On and I'm
Going Home. Then there is When The Levee Breaks which is a highlight for me
and based on the crowd's reaction many others.
