A LORD DIE VINTAGE RECORDING
---

Rec. Info:
Unknown mic and recorder, most likely AIWA Walkman with internal mics -> Mastercassette -> playback on NAK DR3 by SeetheFuzz7) -> Memory Stick (via Mail) -> my HD -> Audacity (edit/remaster) ->
TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...
Recorded by dear LORD DIE close to the stage edge. I've increased the mid and lower ends quite a bit to make this rather crappy sounding tape a bit more enjoyable. Also this was marred by
that terrible "Automatic gain control", so I had to lower each audience noise and song introductions. Some yells and hollers here and there, but no chatters! What this recording lacks in
case of quality, the music from this beautiful show more than makes up for it! Sorry, no pics on this one...

---
A few months ago dear LORD DIE decided to clean up the cellar below his garage (you know, where the big eight-legged monsters are ruling!) and found a shoebox filled with old analog cassettes
which he recorded many years ago, but almot had forgotten about. When he told me about his discovery and named just a few bandnames, I was immediately "fire and flame" for this new challenge.
Well, some of these tapes are way too private to share in public (respect him), but there are still some great ones I am allowed to spread in future time.
I'd like to start this small series with one of my real all time favourite bands since the last 25+ years, the mighty grand BEVIS FROND. I had the supreme fun to experience them about a dozen
times since my first encounter with these real nice blokes back in 1991 at the lovely Forum in Enger, Germany. They never let me down on a show and are truly kind and generous with thei fans,
which also includes that they are really taperfriendly. I still have to bite myself in the ass, that I missed their latest show in Bielefeld due to personal troubles...but I guess that it
was not my last opportunity to catch them on an enchanting evening with superb music, fantastic vibes and (hopefully) a puffy cloud with them. This is for all the nice FRONDIANS I've met so far.
ENJOY! SB.
