‘The 13th Dream of Dr. Sardonicus, a Fruits de Mer Festival of Psychedelia’ was a festival that took place in Aberteifi/Cardigan, Cymru/Wales, on Friday 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August.
When I found out that one of my favourite bands, The Bevis Frond, would be playing there, I decided to take a week holiday from my tourist-guide job to attend the festival. And I absolutely didn’t regret it: there were a lot of fine bands, in a nice small venue (The Castle Cafe and Cellar Bar), the weather and the atmosphere were great and I met a lot of nice people.
I also managed to record all but two of the gigs. Most of them will be posted in September, because tonight I’ll leave home to work elsewhere for two weeks.
I didn’t want to let the Bevis Frond fans wait that long though, so here it is.I’ll also include a few pictures of the festival poster,the ticket, the venue and the band.
