Regarding the recording of Eddie Cleanhead Vinson, Joe Houston and Big Joe Turner at The Mt. Baker Theater in Bellingham, Washington on May 8th 1985.
I was the stage monitor engineer, mixing the 4-channel stage monitor mix on a Electro Voice Tapco Catalina C-12 mixer,
using EV microphones, PL 76's, PL 77's, PL11's, Shure SM 11's (I forget what else).
I used an auxiliary send from the mixing board to my Nakamichi 550 cassette deck for the master recording on Maxell XLII CrO2 tape.
Jerry Wolcott - March 2010
Thanks to Jerry for sending me his master cassette, the detailed recording information and the art work.
Oh yes and being wise enough to hook up his portable Nakamichi cassette deck to the mixer feed!
