Show Notes: The third Melbourne show in the smaller and fully seated Recital Centre (1,000 capacity versus ~2,000 for the mostly standing room only Forum) made for a different vibe compared to the first show I saw at The Forum 2 days earlier, but no less awesome. A polite but enthusiastic crowd sat for the show until some encouragement from the band to stand on their seats during Spud Infinity (note, standing took place but not on the seats, us Melbournians are too polite to ruin the furniture of a nice theatre). Adrianne was forced to talk to the crowd for an extended period after Blue Lightning while a broken string was fixed (the roadie brought out the guitar for the next song but Adrianne was happy to wait, putting pressure on the poor roadie to fix it promptly). Another great show from Big Thief!

Recording Notes: Sounds great, no background chatter compared to my Forum recording, but a little microphone rustle every now and then, not sure what I was doing there, but otherwise a really good recording. Enjoy!
