There is NO MUSIC here--just the interview

This comes from my original cassette (TDK D C120, in case anyone cares!), and I have no memory of what tape recorder I used. I sat down with Bill while he was in LA promoting "One of A Kind." I don't even recall if any write-up of this interview was published, and while I must have attended the concert at the Roxy, I don't recall it either. I was a teenager when I did this interview, working free-lance for a paper in LA. Still, I'm a bit surprised after listening to this almost 30 years later to be less embarrased than I expected...and Bill's comments are often extremely interesting. A few choice ones come near the end...

This originally was in a single .flac file. I went ahead and split it up at key points for quick access to different questions and topics... I also threw on some compression/expander to punch up the quieter moments, and then worked on EQ-ing out the recorder squeel. Then I applied hiss removal. I do think it's good, fact is... It seems like a lifetime ago...

It should be said that the original dime seeder, nikaime, has given his blessing to the marriage of these two entities for the release of this torrent.
