After hearing that Bill Perry passed away on Tuesday, July 17th , 2007 at the age of 49,
I realized that another great guitarist has left us way too soon without getting
the true recognition he deserved, all that is left is our memories for those who
were lucky enough to see Bill play live, in time hopefully others will get a chance
to listen to one of the greatest ever.


I had been watching Bill play live since the early eighties when he was in a band by
the name of Izabella which played mostly Hendrix, some Clapton, Beck, Trower and stuff
like that, he was legendary at that time playing with skills that rivaled Jimi Hendrix
and it was alway's a real treat to see Bill play live, hardly anyone i know knew of a better
guitarist until Stevie Ray Vaughan gained in popularity, even Bill was a big fan.

Many times over the years have i seen Bill play in different places and never thought of
recording him or anyone else until Eric Steckel told me i could record him if i like and that
was merely months before i recorded this show so i gladly share all i have of the late great
Bill Perry.
