This will forever be known as the final concert at the Nassau Veterans Memorial
Coliseum. Billy was chosen to close the historic Long Island building and did
so in incredible fashion. He played for over 3 hours and local guests included
the iconic Paul Simon and the Long Island funnyman, Kevin James.

The taper has chosen to remain anonymous, so the lineage is a little sparse. We
do know he used a Zoom handheld portable recorder and taped from 116, Row E.
Raven (of Raven's Rock Block, http://ravensrockblock.blogspot.com) received the
wave file and handled level adjustments and a slight EQ. Based on how the taper
was seated, you will be able to tell the left channel is slightly prevalent in
the mix, but Raven did his best to correct. Raven has chosen to leave the
recording preserved in it's original 24bit state. No 16bit version will be made
available at this time.

The recording is quite good for that of a handheld zoom. The only minor gripe
would be the slight movement as people walk by down the aisle and the occasional
nearby talkers. It is few and far between, and very minor. It's pretty obvious
none of them knew the goosebumps inducing rare 1978 gem, "Until The Night"...

"Root Beer Rag" & "Souvenir" were on the original setlist, but skipped. "Uptown
Girl" was added at the encore.

I always knew the area as HEMPstead before they put up the Nassau Coliseum.
At least they never gave it corporate name. Gotta give 'em credit for that!
