This captures the Chicago stop on Billy Joel's summer 2017 tour. Not too many setlist surprises in this one, but overall a solid performance of well-rehearsed material. In honor of Chicago, the band breaks into a brief cover of Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4" early in the set, and does a reasonable facsimile of it given that it was completely unrehearsed.
Talltaper did a great job with this recording - perfect positioning to the PA, and somehow managed to avoid chatty/noisy audience members. Somehow he always seems to have good luck with his recordings on the field at Wrigley. (I have found my neighbors at Wrigley shows to be extremely inattentive, especially for Billy Joel.) Balance is great, and vocals are clear and prominent.
Mp3 samples are included in the comments. Thanks to Talltaper for giving the green light for this to go on Dime.
