This was the second time the Black Crowes came to Hamburg. After their great debut at Grosse Freiheit 36 the year before, they had released SHAMC in the meantime and the whole city had been waiting for them to return. I got this tape from the guys who taped the show. If I remember right (it is almost 20 years ago again, time flies)...they worked on their recording in their homestudio before circulating these cassette copies. What they did exactly, I don´t know. I guess some equalizing and some editing, there is at least one strange cut (a short repeated section in the Jam, shortly before the rock drum groove starts) in the recording. Sadly the first three songs are missing. The band started on time i guess....I am trying to get in touch with one of the guys at the moment, to get a better gen copy but for the time being this is the best version i have to offer.

Still an enjoyable recording, I hope you like it.
