I traded this with the taper many years ago, not long after the gig. I don't remember his setup, but Minidisc was the choice of the day, so I would have to imagine that this was was the medium.
I have searched, and not found this show available, so hopefully it will be able to plug a gap. Sound quality is decent, but there are a few audio crackles especially in the first song or two, but it does settle down, and overall quality is good. I noticed a drop out or two on Disc 2 Song 1, but this is in the master. Fade Out/In at End of Disc 1/Start of Disc 2 and also between Last song of main set/Encore.
The Performance is cracking(See Below for my account of the show), and as Chris Robinson says during the show "We don't normally talk about places, but we always have a good night when we come from Glasgow"
So as much as it is not tip top audio quality, it is worth a download, as the performance is worth it.

Musings:
From memory it was a hot day (Especially by Glasgow standards), I finished work early and headed to the pub with some friends(and friends of friends), enjoying the feel of cold Guinness passing through my throat. There were people there I didn't know, so the usual banter of first gig came up.
Mine was The Black Crowes in Belfast when I was just a pup, so I was looking forward to seeing them again.
The Barrowlands, or to give it's full name "The Barrowlands Ballroom" is a Glasgow Institution, opening in 1934, it has hosted most of the big names in music, from U2 to Oasis (More info at http://www.glasgow-barrowland.com/history/historybands.html). Current Capacity of 1900.
I wont mince my words, the place is grungy, its dark, dirty(or feels that way), but it has an atmosphere I have only encountered in a few other places. The acoustics are good, and sound has been pretty spot on every time I have been there.
That night, capacity was full, dare I say over full. It was hot sweaty and smoky. These days you can't smoke in venues, and they have such good air conditioning, that you hardly break a sweat. Maybe I am old school, but when you go to a gig, you should feel the heat, the tension, and you should always come out looking you have been somewhere.
The support act if I remember correctly was Cosmic Rough Riders.
The crowd were in fine form, and getting a little bit bouncy on the sprung dance floor, Chris Robinson even said after a song or two "We want to have a great night, but you lot (pointing to the first couple of rows, including me) need to chill"
It was so warm during the gig, the front security started hosing people down with a mist sprayer, which was much needed, so I ended up drenched, but it didn’t stop me enjoying the night.
The band was in great form. Chris's voice was superb, and the guitar and keyboards sung out their sweet melody.
The setlist was a good mix of old and new songs, and the band seemed to have a genuinely good night. I had a blast, even if I had to walk through Glasgow afterwards looking like I had a shower with my clothes on.
Overall a great night, and when I was checking this disc, it brought back so many memories.
