Gig Notes:
Sold out show and the first in Glasgow for the Crowes for a good number of years now. And I haven't seen them since '97...
Good show with a fair number of songs from the first couple of albums and a smattering of covers.
Recording notes and sound quality:
Recording in a venue is usually playing off one thing against another. In an attempt to avoid the worst of the talkers, I recorded this from the vicinity of the RH PA, hence there recording being a little heavier in the mid-bass than I would like. I used Audition's graphic eq "general mud removal" selection and boosted the volume by +5db. The result is still a bit bass heavy, but still very listenable. The sound does pick up from Wiser Time, as a couple moved from in front of me and I made it to the barrier.
Volume boosted by +5db.
