Notes: Need help with the setlist. Secondly, these guys will be on Conan O'Brien's show Monday night, so tune in.
The band was opening for ZZ Top. The show was supposed to start at 7:30, but the band strolled on to a virtually empty venue 15 to 20 minutes early. My recorder was completely off, so I had to wake it up and by the time it was ready the band was about a minute into its first tune.
I was in the first row of this smaller outdoor venue. ZZ Top's sound was unbalanced, I figured it was because I was so close. But Blackberry Smoke's sound was much better and the recording reflects that. The band got into a bit of Zep's "Your Time is Gonna Come." Enjoy!
