Blind Faith - 1969-08-16 Earl Warren Showgrounds, Santa Barbara, CA
Sony ECM280 Mics>Uher 5" portable reel to reel
Master Aud. Reel>Reel>DAT>Delta 2496 Digital Soundcard>Soundforge 7.0>CD Wave Editor>Flac

This is the second part of the audience recording made by two of the pioneers of stealth audience taping, Harv Kaslow and Craig Todd. The tapers turned the Uher and and off several times and I have left the recording "as is".

correct date & venue info updated by fatoldpig (06/07/2006)
for more info, look here http://www.angelfire.com/wi/blindfaith/bfconcerts.html

all the versions dated 8/16/69 & 8/26/69 came from the same source and have the same audience chatters, same comments by Baker "Now we'd like to do a number by Stevie Winwood and it's called Can't Find My way Home" or by Winwood "we're gonna do another song up the album and it's
called Had To Cry, it's all basically sad anyway".

Original info:

Blind Faith (CSNY was the opening act)
August 26, 1969
The Greek Theater, Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA
Sony ECM280 Mics>Uher 5" portable reel to reel
Master Aud. Reel>Reel>DAT>Delta 2496 Digital Soundcard>Soundforge 7.0>CD Wave Editor>Flac

This is the second part of the audience recording made by two of the pioneers of stealth audience taping, Harv Kaslow and Craig Todd. The tapers turned the Uher and and off several times and I have left the recording "as is". It was a pretty rough crowd as lots of people were breaking in to the small (holds appox. 6,000) Greek Theater.
