Blodwyn (ex Mick Abraham's Blodwyn Pig)
Tracks 1-3:
BBC, John Peel's Top Gear
original session date 1970-09-14, (the only) broadcast 1970-10-03.
London, UK
Full session was: See My Way (not included in this torrent, apparently not broadcast on that date), Lonely Nights, Lovely Lady, Lady of Liberty.
Track 4:
BBC, Alan Black's Sounds of The 70s
original session date 1970-09-23, broadcast 1970-10-09.
recorded at Aeolian Hall Studio 2,
London, UK
Recorded and digitized by Ace Rimmer (THANK YOU ACE!)
Original Ace Rimmer's notes:
"Four live session tracks by Blodwyn. I don't recall exact details, but I think they were the remaining group after Mick Abrahams left. If so, the choice of name
suggests it may not have been amicable. The titles are 'Lady of Liberty' 'Lonely Nights' 'Lovely Lady' (bit of an obsession with 'L' there), and 'Moon's Gone'."
Lineage: original BBC AM radio broadcast -> unknown mono reel-to-reel-recorder -> master off-air mono reel-to-reel tape -> unknown digital transfer method -> wave ->
flac (level 8 via TLH)
I've received tracks in MONO 16-44 wav format, converted them to flac level 8 with TLH, and created info file.
Set-list:
1. Lonely nights (8:19)
2. Lovely lady (5:05)
3. Lady of liberty (5:28)
4. Moon's gone (3:02)
