I am going to try to reseed the whole archive this year, 250 something volumes of seminal New York punk, rock, and no wave.

All the commentary was done as I heard this stuff for the first time. Tapes were marked with only artist, date, venue so I'd constantly be blown away by this guest or that song played.

Talk about your esoteric setlists! Here are two short (4 songs each) but sweet sets from the CBGB Punk Magazine Benefit. They had just come off tour with Iggy - I am pretty sure Valentine is still in the band and that Frank Infante had either just joined up or was sitting in. Kidnapper is co-sung by Jimmy Destri. The Ramones cover is excellent, but hi, Blondie covering The Runaways in '77??!! Hard to believe and totally amazing! Like all shows from the SKOTF archive this has either never circulated or constitutes a dramatic upgrade. The Richard hell sets from this show are up already. There will be more stuff from the Punk benefit, but they are probably months down the road. In the meantime please enjoy this.
