THE BOMB-GOODY REMASTER (v.2)

audience recording by mee
remaster guidance and support by goody
remastered (once, then a bit more, then again) by bombdiggity

Mee was kind enough to post this totally vintage recording.
As he noted it had some issues (undoubtedly from the recorder).
This is not to be confused with the earlier remaster by someone
else (which tossed out a perfectly good channel to use only one
of them). The source was distinctly stereo (and still is in this
edition). This is not equalized, the other remaster was.

This is also not to be confused with the Bombdiggity Remaster,
which did not diagnose (or fix) the pitch.
Goody checked the sample of that and noticed the speed was off,
then was kind enough to go out of his way to give the ends a spot
check even though this isn't really his thing, arriving at a
suggested correction.

Also not to be confused with the initial Bomb-Goody Remaster,
which was an error we won't revisit any further...

REMASTER NOTES :
Slight dc offset correction
Levels adjusted by hard limiting to -.25 dB :
t01: l +8.7, r +4, t02: l +8.7, r +3.5,
t03: l +10.7, r +3, t04: l +9.7, r +2.9,
t05: l +9.2, r +3, t06: l +9.7, r +3,
t07: l +7.4, r +2.9, t02: l +7.4, r +5
The left channel ran approx. 17 samples behind
the right, so I added 17 samples to the start
of the right channel to correct this phase offset.
Slight edits were made to try to smooth out the
between track transitions where the recorder was
turned off and to fade the ending stop.
The pitch was off. This is corrected +52 cents
based on a spot check of the first and last tracks.
There may still be additional uncorrected speed/pitch
fluctuation due to the age of the equipment and media,
but all seems much improved.

Enjoy!
