Here’s the second of two uncirculated Blood Sweat & Tears performances that I recorded way back when. Many of you will recognize some of these names. The young Mike Stern playing great. Don Alias playing the set as Bobby Colomby had recently departed. The wonderful pianist Larry Willis. All familiar names to jazz fans. If you’re not familiar with Alias on the set he is just terrific. Most of us know him as a percussionist with Miles and countless others.

Audio quality is quite listenable when the time frame is considered. However the left channel is weaker than the right. Probably due to trying to hide my Sony Stereo recorder which was quite large in size. The left condenser microphone was likely still partially in my girlfriends duffle bag. Check the samples posted for the first show to see if they meet your standards before downloading.

Thanks to all who make Dime happen. A place where gems like this can be shared freely with so many.

The more generous you are with your music the more good will comes back to you. You sell you go to hell.
