Blue Cheer at the Middle East, Cambridge, MA, June 24, 2006, audience recording.

This was recorded with Sony TCS-580V cassette recorder, with stereo internal mics. Maxell XLII (Type II) went from Onkyo TA-RW313 cassette deck into Zoom H2, which I USB'd into my PC. Wav went to Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12, where track markings, editting, and volume boost were done. I also did a speed correction on this one (old BPM - 120.00, new BPM - 122.699). TLH used for flac conversion, SBE correction, and torrent creation.

Tracklist:
01 - Babylon
02 - Second Time Around
03 - Rock Me Baby
04 - Parchmant Farm
05 - Out Of Focus
06 - Hoochie Coochie Man
07 - The Hunter
08 - Just A Little Bit
09 - Summertime Blues false start
10 - Summertime Blues
11 - Doctor Please
12 - Roadhouse Blues

The sound quality on this gets a B+. This is easily one of the coolest shows I've ever seen in my life, bar none. I grew up with Vincebus Eruptum, and always felt like it was a timeless record, which I'd surely never get to experience in a concert situation, much less at my favorite club in Cambridge. I have shared this show here in the past, but with a cdr in the lineage, and without proper speed correction. I matched up the audio here to another 2006 show on youtube, and this seems dead on. The tape flips occur between tracks 06 and 07, and tracks 11 and 12. I removed the stage chat from the beginning of track 12, as I was in the bathroom, but no music is lost. I also recorded Doomriders set, if anyone's interested. Gawddamn, I'm glad I captured this show. Dickie RIP!

Enjoy!
