Blue Gravy is: Nick Gravenites, Guitar & Vocals; Fred Olson, Guitar; Steve Funk, Keyboards; Doug Kilmer, Bass and Tony Dey, Drums.

Lou's Notes: Blue Gravy was fairly short lived. This is the only live recording that I know of anywhere. The only studio tracks I know of are on an OOP lp called Mill Valley Bunch - Casting Pearls released in 1972 on Verve (V6-8825). There were 3 - 'Settle It In The Bedroom Baby', Hollywood Blues' and 'Last Call Blues'.

Steel Yard Blues was a 1972 movie starring Jane Fonda, Donald Sutherland, Peter Boyle, Garry Goodrow, Howard Hesseman, and John Savage (interesting cast!) that Nick wrote the music for.

The included picture might be up around Mt.Tamalpais given the background. Gravenites is in the midlle like Buddha and the only other one I know is Doug Kilmer, all the way to the right looking like Tommy Chong, next to the pooch.
