Show Notes:
To keep it short and sweet: Adam, the owner of the Blue Loon, called up a bunch of his friends from the lower 48 to come back and jam over the weekend for The Blue Loon's 20th Anniversary. They are mentioned above. Friday night was a 'beer and wine' tasting with a $20 ticket; the 1st set was more 'jazz' based, whereas the 2nd set was more 'rock' based.

Saturday night was a no-cover 2-rock set affair with free food beforehand.

I was thoroughly impressed, as Dawn has a stellar voice, and there isn't anyone in the band who cannot play proficiently, as the wide-ranging and long (3 hours, both nights) will attest to (SRV, James Brown, Etta, Springsteen, Aretha, CCR, Bonnie Raitt, a threatened ZZ Top two-fer that never materialized, thought I heard some Joni, and even more obscure artists).

For not having played together in years, simply put, you can't fake chemistry.

We're rapidly approaching 1000 TTD uploads for Dennis, so be sure to get your thanks in now!

If you do, maybe something special will drop for #1000 (and a few prior).

On this end, I'm gonna go back to looking for some you-know-whats to give...or something like that.

More, later.........
