Comments:

Perhaps one of the greatest B�C shows of all time (or certainly one of the longest!), now available in stellar sound quality, thanks to taper "King of Rock".

For those who don't know, this was a fan organized event, a celebration of Cult music past and present, a party more than a gig, a gathering of the faithful, and a musical orgy of Cult songs lasting over 3 hours. Overplayed songs like Godzilla, Burnin' For You, Cities On Flame and E.T.I. were purposely left out of the setlist to make room for seldom heard relics or long jammin' tracks that usually don't get played together in the same night. Reaper was given an acoustic treatment. There were no bass/drum solos to give anyone a pee break - every song is a highlight.

Cities On Flame wasn't entirely absent however. You can hear the beginning chords of that Cult classic ring out in fan fakeout fashion as the start of the first song on all three of these CDs. The band even did that for the first four songs of the night back to back to back to back!

The only bad thing I can say about this show is that they didn't do X-Ray Eyes (which is a song I don't think they've ever done live and one I would dearly love to hear).

Not much else to say, I'll let the music do the talkin'; if you have a different source already for this show this is still worth a download, as chances are this will be a sonic upgrade.
