Review:
The sound is fat and warm, and the recording quality is very good. The vocals are up front. The crowd noise is always present, but very low. It doesn't detract from the show. This 2 CD release presents the entire Dylan portion of the show. The pedestrian set list is geared toward the casual fan, but each song is performed with authority. Dylan is a vocal powerhouse. The package is an amateurish first offering from this Label. All the classic newbie mistakes are made. From an overused, blurry photo to barely fair aesthetics. From the lack of venue and Label information to incorrect era photo and bad color combination choice for the back cover track list. Don't simply write this one off, though. There are some great renditions of Dylan classics here, as well as a few interesting duets with Paul Simon.
