Bob Dylan and his Band, Paris nov 13 2003

One of the best Dylan shows ever. If you hear "Down along the Cove" it makes you wonder what Stu, Donny and Denny are doing
in Dylan's present Band.

Bob Dylan, 11/13/03, Paris, France, Le Zenith - HV recording (LB-1422 / Cedar 4) - db levels rebalanced -
2 CD (50.08/77.50)
Source - HV recording with OKM IIR mics (reported to be slightly remastered from original HV off-master)
> Rebalanced db by stewART on all tracks with Audacity > made seperate track of encore interval, disc 2 t9 > FLAC> torrent
(HV also taped the more recent Amneville 2005 show (LB 3618)
If antone has any further information on the original HV off-master or comments to make in general,
I would be very interested.
Listing of original from Lossless Bob > LB-1422, version "a", excellent sound; upgrade in sound over previous version ;
levels lower on right channel than left; left channel overloads sometimes mainly on clapping ; downloaded from
a.b.m.s.d. 12/03 (this turns out to be recording by hv) (Cedar 4) - http://jokerman.org.uk/lb/LosslessBob.html
Details - stewART rebalance 2006 -
< levels lower on right channel than left ; left channel overloads sometimes mainly on clapping > as described,
there is actually an average 4db difference between the channels on disc 1 & 5db on disc 2, so I have adjusted
the levels by lowering volumes on left channel accordingly and raising right channel slightly where it seemed
necessary
< left channel overloads sometimes mainly on clapping > This channel certainly was set at the near maximum volume
(much like many Crystal Cat releases) and some clipping occurs as described where there is nearby audience noise
& clapping - the audio quality of the music does not seem noticeably affected. Overall this is an excellent quality
recording where the depth of tone of the vocals and instruments is exceptional. No other audio processing apart from
db adjustment - the only other alteration was to make a seperate track of encore interval, disc 2 t9.

Recording reviews -
'Nearly perfect sound, with guitars sounding especially good. A must hear'.
- Cedar (Catalogue of Extant Dylan Audio Recordings - http://www.cedarproject.org/)
'Just got this one, sounding even better than my previous favourite cedar 2 from this MUST HAVE
show.
Rich, dynamic, open sound. Audience more present, but not obtrusive. My recommended version !
(This Paris recording is probably among the best ever.done by HV) - Torbstra
