Bob Dylan & His Band - October 16, 2010 - "Rollin' and Righteous"
Winston Salem, North Carolina
Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum (Joel Coliseum)

Greetings all ... I'm pleased to report that the second night in beautiful North Carolina was just as
inspiring and heart-felt as the other night in Charlotte. Perhaps it was the cool, crisp Carolina Blue
skies that set the mood for the wonderful performances..... the weather here is glorious !

This recording is dedicated to the most important girls in my life - my wife and two daughters - who
tolerated my love (obsession ?) for live music, and make sure that I am afforded every opportunity to attend
whenever and wherever I desire. Thank you ladies !

The arena tonight was not as intimate as Halter Arena in Charlotte, as the stage set up was more open.
In Charlotte, the building was able to accommodate the stage being set up such that about half of the
arena was used. Thus, there were only about 20 rows of seating on the floor, with the rest of the crowd in the
stands and off the floor. We all felt closer to the band. Tonight, the stage was set way back on the floor,
and this made the room feel bigger, less intimate, and a bit less "warm" sonically.

I'm going to title this capture "Rollin' and Righteous"... for me, the room didn't really "warm up" until the
band ripped through Rollin' and Tumblin'. I was really moved, and you will hear me comment as such at the end of
the song. And another reason for the word "Righteous"... reflecting on my two wonderful nights with Bob and
his band, I can't help but be struck by the number of times I heard Bob sing about GOD duing these two performances...
Let all of us in the DIME community worldwide heed his words and be RIGHTEOUS, the world really needs God right now !
Just sayin'...

The quality of the capture is very similiar to Charlotte, except that there are a few "woots and hollers" during this
performance, but I did what I could to limit the annoyance by switching seats once or twice.

Audience recording - direclty behind soundboard, just off the floor
