Having missed Bob the last three times through the Seattle area (for various medical reasons) we were fairly determined to get to the show this time! It was a great night for the beginning of the U.S. tour. Perfect weather, lovely setting for the show, and a great opening act, too in Mavis Staples. Bob and his band were in mid-tour form. His voice in particular was very strong throughout the show, but especially during the first set.

Standouts were "Pay In Blood," "Beyond Here Lies Nothin'," and a great version of "Tangled Up In Blue" with many new lines! Thanks to Dodger, who also recorded the show. I borrowed the first minute of his version to fill in a late start on our recording. Mine starts with the vocal on "Things Have Changed." I had a bit more quiet around me for the show than he did.
