Amaral, Rosenvinge, Vegas y Aufray felicitan a Dylan desde lo alto de Madrid

Madrid, 25 may (EFE).- "Amaral", Christina Rosenvinge, Nacho Vegas y Hughes Aufray, cuatro artistas unidos por un denominador común, Bob Dylan. Una variada alianza de músicos que se ha reunido esta noche en la azotea del Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, para rendir un sentido homenaje al legendario cantautor estadounidense.
En una sobria y elegante actuación, en la línea de lo que se espera de un concierto de estas características, todos ellos han intercalado canciones propias con versiones de temas del cantante de Minnesota, a las que han imprimido parte de su sello pero sin abandonar en todo momento un estilo claramente "dylaniano".
La noche empezó suave, con una comedida Christina Rosenvinge que interpretó su composición "Canción del Eco", para posteriormente lanzarse con una versión "plagiada" -en palabras de la cantante- del tema de Dylan, "Don't think twice, it's all right".
De este modo, sencillo y contenido, Rosenvinge ha ido calentando los motores del evento, y no ha dudado en acusar a Dylan de ser uno de los "culpables" de que ella se dedique a la canción.
Nacho Vegas ha sido el siguiente en felicitar a uno de los compositores más influyentes de la música moderna, y ha sorprendido al público con "Extranjero", una inesperada versión de un tema de Leonard Cohen, quien, según Vegas, es otro de los grandes creadores del siglo XX.
Después, el artista asturiano se ha atrevido a trasladar a Dylan al castellano, con el tema "Un simple giro del destino", algo que nunca había hecho anteriormente por el profundo "respeto" -dice- que le impone el músico americano, pero de lo que ha salido bastante bien parado.
Ya con la noche prácticamente entrada y el público entregado, los terceros en actuar han sido el dúo "Amaral", quienes se han metido a los asistentes en el bolsillo con "Hacia lo salvaje" y, especialmente, "Llegará la tormenta", acertadísima adaptación a nuestro idioma de "A hard rain's gonna fall".
Con el concierto en su punto álgido, ha sido el momento para que "Amaral", Rosenvinge y Vegas compartieran el escenario y unieran sus voces e instrumentos con solventes resultados en un único tema, "Dead is not the end".
Tras los músicos españoles, llegó el turno del cantautor francés de origen español Hugues Aufray, especializado en versionar a Dylan al idioma galo, en lo que ha sido un perfecto fin de fiesta que ha seducido por completo a los asistentes.
"Like a Rolling Stone", "Heartland" o "Don't think twice, it's all right", han sonado con maestría en los labios e instrumentos de este Dylan francés, quien ha insistido en que él no traduce la poesía del genio estadounidense ya que "eso es imposible" -indica-, sino que la "traslada" a través de otros idiomas.
Pero la música de Aufray no se reduce a Dylan y por ello, con el público reclamando más canciones, ha decidido entregar uno de sus temas propios y más conocidos, "Santiano", con el que ha cerrado la noche.
Así, el concierto ha supuesto una emotiva y muy sincera felicitación de cumpleaños a un genio indiscutible, la cual ha servido para recordarnos que Dylan, aun septuagenario, permanecerá siempre joven en los corazones de los aficionados a la música. EFE

Amaral, Rosenvinge, Vegas and Aufray congratulate Dylan from top of Madrid

Madrid, 25 may (EFE).- "Amaral", Christina Rosenvinge, Nacho Vegas and Hughes Aufray, 4 artists with a common passion, Bob Dylan. A mixtured allience of musicians gathered tonight on Circulo de Bellas Artes de Madrid rooftop, to homage the legendary USA singer/songwriter.
On a sober and elegant show, performancewise, in line with what one might expect from a concert like this, all of them included at least one of their own songs (or a cover from a different artist in the case of Nacho Vegas) beside Dylan covers, to which they partly gave their personal view, never missing a quite typical dylan style, though.
The night started tender, with a measured Christina Rosenvinge performing her own composition "Cancion del Eco (Echo's Song)", to later undertake a cover of Dylan's song, so many times "plagiarized" by herself -in her own words- "Don't think twice, it's all right".
In such a simple and moderate way, Rosenvinge slowly warmed up the engines of the event, while she did not hesitate to "blame" Dylan on her professional choice.
Nacho Vegas was next to wish a happy birthday to one of the most influential songwriters of modern music, and surprised the audience with "Cancion del Extranjero (Stranger Song)", an unexpected spanish version of Leonard Cohen misterious theme, who, after Vegas, is another one of the greatest authors of the last century.
Then, the Asturian artist dared to translate Dylan to the Castillian language, with the song "A Simple Twist of Fate", something he had never done before because of the deep "respect" -he said- the American songwriter ever imposed on him, but from where he came out successful enough.
With the night practically almost in and the audience already surrendered, the third ones to perform were "Amaral" duet, who put the attenders into the artists pockets with "Hacia lo salvaje" and, especially, with "Llegará la tormenta", inspired adaptation to our own language of "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall".
The show coming up to its zenith, that was the right moment for "Amaral", Rosenvinge and Vegas to share the stage and successfully join their voices and instruments on a single cut, "Dead is not the end".
After the spanish musicians, the turn of French singer/songwriter Hugues Aufray came. Accostumed to Dylan covers in the Gallic language, he completely seduced the assistants in what was a perfect fest end.
"Like a Rolling Stone", "Heartland" or "Don't think twice, it's all right", masterfully sounded in the lips and instruments of this French Dylan, who insisted he didn't translate the poetry of the American genius because "that's impossible" -indicates-, but just makes a "transmission" of it through different idioms.
Aufray's music doesn't end at Dylan, though, so that, with the audience asking for more, he decided to deliver one of his own and most popular songs, "Santiano", to finish up the stirring night.
Thus the concert ended up being just like a moving and sincere Birthday's congratulation to an unquestionable genius, useful enough as a reminder to reckon Dylan, even a septuagenarian, will always remain forever young in the hearts of music fans. EFE
