CLINTON HEYLIN
New York City, NY
1991-05-25 -- 47:07
Was relocating my cassettes and found one alone, abandoned and forgotten; but seeing it brought back excellent memories.
It contains a partial recording of Clinton Heylin's speech to the assembly at the Dylan convention in a New York hotel the name of
which I've forgotten. Made from the audience, there is a constant buzz from activity elsewhere in the same large room. Still, Heylin's
words are clear and distinct; he is his usual interesting and opinionated self, especially during the Q & A session. Apparently I was in
no position to flip the tape so it ends in mid word; no idea of how much is missing. If you would consider going to such a convention,
this recording is for you.

I bought the book 'Behind the Shades' and had it inscribed by Heylin; was not disappointed. All of his writing is interesting and easily
worth the read. Buy his works and make your life fuller.
