Bob Dylan Girl From The North Country Stage Show Australia April 2022

Thought there probably would be demand for this out there...somewhere??

I was so looking forward to seeing the Aussie stage show version of Dylan’s Girl from the North Country.....I listened to both the UK & US versions of the cast recording, and actually really enjoyed it....and was wondering how the Aussie cast would compare to what I’d already heard, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.
Australian popular actress, Lisa McCune takes on the lead role, and has a very good voice indeed. Wasn’t so fussed about fellow Aussie actor Peter Kowitz playing the role of Elizabeth’s husband, but luckily he didn’t have any singing input.

Anyway, before seeing the Aussie stage version I was desperately trying to find a full cast recording of ANY show, from ANY season, ANY country, but to no avail!! So I hope there’s some demand for this. I recorded it myself and think it turned out pretty good. It’s no substitute for an official cast recording, but if someone wants to listen to the ENTIRE show from the first note to the curtain call, this is for you.
Or if anyone wants to hear the songs performed by the Aussie cast, I’m confident this is the only recording out there.
